Save data to local disk
|
Window to select destination location to save recovered data is as shown in Figure a.
Figure a : Saving Options DD PST Repair software provides two options to save recovered data. By default it is set to save the data to local drive. Select the destination path where you wish to save your repaired .pst file. Check "Compress repaired file(s)" box if you want to save the data in a compressed form. This will save the repaired .pst file in compressed form. Select the scan method you wish to perform and click OK. As you click OK button, the application starts repairing selected .pst file and recovers lost / deleted emails. The application uses advanced scanning technique to locate emails in the selected .pst file and restores them into a new .pst file in the selected destination location. Restored .pst file is similar to the original .pst file and is saved in a new folder by name "XXXX RecoveredXX" in specified destination location. (If you have selected "Compress repaired file(s)" option, then you can locate the new .pst file in a .zip file in a new folder by name "XXXX RecoveredX") You can now import the new .pst file to Microsoft Outlook to access your emails as before.
